Tom was recommended by two friends who had both had work done by Baker's Lofts and we were able to see some of his previous work.  We can't overstate the considerate approach Tom, Lewis and James took in dismantling our roof and turning the loft into a fantastic bedroom with en-suite bathroom, There was a clear plan with advice and time to consider the choices we needed to make. Structural elements such as steelwork and roof construction were explained in detail as well as options for acoustic isolation etc. During the build, dust and debris was kept to an absolute minimum and the team took pains to be as invisible as possible whilst becoming part of the household for a time. The specialists who were brought in by Tom or recommended by him were also at the top of their game and delightful to meet. We would thoroughly recommend Baker's Lofts who have exceeded our expectations on the space available, usability of the space and the quality of both the underlying work and finish.

We can't praise Tom, Terry, Jack and their support team enough. They have created an amazing space that has totally transformed our home with a master bedroom and en-suite. We went into this project with expectations of what the final space would look like and Bakers Lofts exceeded those beyond anything we could have imagined. They were on site every day even during the intense heat this summer, they were on hand to discuss changes to the plans and give advise on what would work well with the space, we cannot recommend these guys enough.

We've posted some pictures here , we still have some decorating/painting to do so excuse some of the plaster and bare wood but you can see what they have created in 8 weeks.

Highly recommend Bakers Lofts it was a pleasure to meet Tom, Terry an Carl great bunch of guys who have done a fantastic job converting our loft into a specious master bedroom and en-suite, not only that they replaced our rotting flat roof on an existing extension and we’re always on hand to give us advise.

We were recommended to use Bakers Lofts by 2 sets of friends who had used them and we were not disappointed. The workmanship is very professional and of high quality. Very pleased with these guys. I learned the hard way from cowboys in the past. Tom and his crew aren't cowboys. A friend bought a house with a loft conversion, and it's bloody awful, so we were picky about who we went with, and we'd never heard anything but good things about Bakers.

They turned up in the morning, and banged about in our loft every day for a month, then appeared in the house to put the stairs in, and it was done. The most impressive thing about them is that they give good advice and use higher grade components for things you'll never see, but will certainly benefit from when they don't start leaking/disintegrating after 10 years.

Great advice on orientation, floor plans, etc, and great care, and - presumably because they've done thousands of loft conversions and have the build plan down to a fine art, great price.
